Am i the only one (only read through the first 2 pages) who despises seeing people with ipods or DS's at Disneyland? I mean, it's Disneyland, the place is so immersive as is and it bothers me that people would rather just fart around with a video game, or listen to music and space out. There's so much stimulation at that park, it just grates on my nerves. MOSTLY when it's a kid there with their family tho - spend time with your family. Kids are turning into zombies.... (I'm only 25...)
I say ... do not worry what others are doing and enjoy your self. why should it bother you what others do as long as your not harmed in the process??
I have friends who listen to music, I my self people watch.
My favorite time waster is eating ice cream! After that, talking to somebody new to Disneyland, usually at parades, from far away, is always interesting. I've met some neat, nice people from Texas, Alaska, Oregon, and South Carolina by just striking up a conversation. It doesn't always work, though, as some people are reticent to talk with strangers. And, wearing my Grumpy hat, Grumpy shirt, lanyard full of pins, I scare some people, LOL.
I usually talk with the person I am with. The tattoos on my legs usually get conversations started with the people in line around me. I tried the whole iPod thing, but found myself trying to synch up the attraction music with the actual one on the attraction. Ended up putting the iPod away. Only did that once.
When hinges creek in doorless chambers, and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, Whenever candlelights flicker, where the air is deathly still, That is the time when ghosts are present practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.
