Hang out with a cup o' java on the porch of the old New Century Woman shop and watch the tourists! You could almost swear they were real...

I always go to the Disneyland Hotel and hang out by the waterfalls. That place is my favorite spot in the resort, peaceful and never quiet.

I like to look in the stores and see what is available. I especially like the Disneyana collectibles. I love to look and wish for the things that I would like to buy. I also like to sit on a shady bench and watch the people walk buy. You see all kinds of people; happy people, kids crying, some talking on their phones, etc.

well, at night, and if you don't necessarily want to be around a lot of people in the park. I head to the Grand sometimes and just sit by the fireplace. It's very relaxing. If not that, walking around the stores, its kinda sad when you notice that they have one new piece of merch... People watch... It will never get old to people watch because everybody does their own little quirks... Talking to random people... you know. Also, if you feel like getting away from the "larger" crowds... heading over to Tom Sawyer's Island is, well... can be a nice place to walk around and forget how many people are actually there.

I like to spend hours looking at theme, discussing theme, and then buying up useless plush that support the theme of each land!

On a serious note we're always with the kids, and the majority of their attractions have pretty short lines. We usually do not have an overcrowding problem. If the crowds are really bad we simply pack up and head home, which is specifically why I bought our APs to begin with... so we could enjoy the park and not feel rushed when we visit.

Ever since I learned about photography angles in my photo/journalism class, whenever there is a a downtime I tend to take pictures of the park using what I had leanred. I also like to go into the shops or sit and watch the little things.

We relax in NOS and listen to the jazz band. Sometimes we listen to the piano players on Main street, but we don't do that as much since Rod and Alan have left. We love to listen to the Big Bands and watch the swing dancing on Fri and Sat nights.
    People watching is always fun.

Re: What do you do besides rides and normal attractions?

We just wander around taking in the sights. We also see what lines are short. Victoria and I try to ride a ride that we haven't ridden in a long time each time we go: Dumbo, Casey Jones, etc. Though I certainly have favorite rides, I don't see Disneyland in terms of rides, however. I see it in terms of overall environment. It's just a pleasant and soothing place to be. It takes me back to my childhood. I need to go back soon.

Re: What do you do besides rides and normal attractions?

I love to take pictures. Then of course I usually plan on seeing the afternoon parade, and the fireworks. I am looking forward to seeing the new parade at DCA. Sometimes, I shop for pins. One thing, that I especially like to do is have my silouhette done at the Silouhette Shop on Main Street.

I enjoy a Dole Whip at least one time on each Disneyland vacation.

Collecting autographs on a hat is something that I have done on almost all of my trips. It's fun, and while I am waiting for my photo and autograph, it's fun watching other people, especially the children.

Meeting MiceChatters, is something that I like to plan into each of my trips. I usually limit it to the Sunday Noon Meet, but seeing people at the park, that you have posted with on MiceChat is a lot of fun.
