parade of dream music

i know people have asked where to get the music and as far as i know there no way..
but ive just found the music somewhere. its in pieces but it the music...
can anyone tell me the music was released or not

I few years ago I wrote a letter to Disney asking about purchasing the music for Parade Of Dreams. They said they don't carry the title for sale and there was no word (back then) that it would be anytime soon.

I would suggest writing to them in hopes that maybe the more people who request it would get them to finally release it. However, after the sad and very lame news about how Disney now handles letters I doubt anybody would even pay attention to them.

It will never get released due to a severe shortsighted blunder on their part when they recorded the parade and didn't get the release rights to save a little money at the time. To get it released now they would have to pay the equivalent of asking every single contributor to every single track within each unit's loop to rerecord it plus the release rights and plus the manufacturing/distributing costs and they'd never recoup that.

Who knows though there might be a very very very very very small chance that if/when WDW gets the parade that they feel like splurging and put the soundtrack on CD out there.

A few seasons ago the POD fanfare was added to the loop in the esplanade, however I'm not sure if they still use it. Cool to know thou.

Really? Cuz I'm pretty sure they don't use it now.

Yeah this was about two years ago during the Christmas season. The last two times I was at DLR I pretty much had the chance to hear entire the loop more than two times(Don't ask) and I didn't hear the POD music.

I've heard the loop from the Dreams Come True (Princess) float a couple times while in the esplande once I heard the Dream of Imagination (Alice) loop.

ya the princess float is part of the current christmas esplanade music. but just because it's used elsewhere in the park doesn't help its releasability unfortunately.
