    Re: Disneyland music on piano!

Ok. I went on HM yesterday and the foyer music is faster than I thought. The major difference is that the melody line contains no harmony at all. The accompaniment is played on the pedal most definitely, and this just doesn't translate well to the piano.

So long story short, your performance is excellent. Its just that the piano as an instrument has huge deficiencies that prevent anuthenticity to this particular piece of music.

True, that. =( There's only so much that can be done with the instrument. Thank you, though!

Data, your talents amaze me. And Haunted Mansion is my all time favorite ride ever.
Thanks for also including the movie overture. The credits for that movie were slick and the music was great. Sad to say the movie itself was such a dissapointment!
    Again, you rock!

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed 'em. Phantom Manor, the old Space Mountain, part of Star Tours, and Pirates of the Caribbean are still to come, most likely, along with a bunch of film score cues you can hear on my YouTube channel.

You can thank GRD999 for that--he's heavily encouraged me to do it, as well as provided some helpful files.

I would love to hear the very first Space Mountain song, which is a composition by John Cage called 4'33".

Aye, but they edited it down a little too much because of the ride length. Some of the good parts were missing as a result.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Jerry Goldsmith's extraordinary score to Soarin' Over California will very likely be the next item on the menu. I've been able to play the basic theme for a while, but now I'm going through the more disciplined process of memorizing the structure and key changes of the whole piece, making sure I'm not remembering passages incorrectly, and simply practicing playing it right. I'm hoping to be able to share it in a few days.
