![]() | Re: Disneyland Project Tracker Darn. If they fixed the structure, why are they concerned about it failing again? What more can they do to make sure that doesn't happen? In any case, I am very glad they worked hard to try and get it ready. But if it's not ready, it's just not ready. Perhaps we'll see it in late July/Sometime in August. |

![]() | Re: Disneyland Project Tracker They fixed the exterior. The skin of the dragon. The internal workings are still the same and that makes the nervous. What if it happens again? So they are going to work that out before they let the dragon go public.

![]() | Re: Disneyland Project Tracker From what I heard most recently is that the entire frame is in need of replacement, which would mean that a new one would have to be helicoptered in, thus the dragon not appearing until winter... But that's just what I heard, and although my source has been reliable before, sometimes they aren't always reliable. |

![]() | Re: Disneyland Project Tracker ^Winter? I mean, I much rather have them fix the dragon the right way, even if it takes a little longer than expected. Winter though, that would be a bummer if it took that long.

![]() | Re: Disneyland Project Tracker well sometime after the 1st of the year... at any rate they should just put the new dragon to work and then fully fix it when they clean ROA

![]() | Re: Disneyland Project Tracker Or if they don't have it fixed in time by then, it would also make sense to work on it while the river is drained. Then it could be worked on full time. |

![]() | Re: Disneyland Project Tracker Why does Imagineering always manage to mess things up? the show worked perfectly for 15+ yrs when the entertainment dept. put the show together, now WDI had to meddle in it and now the show is a mess. |

![]() | Re: Disneyland Project Tracker What projects are left to track at DL now that AO and and Cosmic Waves are done? Yes i read the first page of this thread, but are we going to visually be able to track the HM upgrades, Stours 2 and such? Im just wondering. How long does everyone think it will be before TL gets another update? TL 98 needs to be gone IMO.

![]() | Re: Disneyland Project Tracker But it wasn't WDI who built the dragon. It was some other company that built it which is why the dragon is now broken. |

![]() | Re: Disneyland Project Tracker What people never seem to understand that WDI doesnt test attractions like they used to... Back in Walt's day he would actually build portions of rides at the studio and test them out before being put into the park. Now things are just thrown together in the hopes they will work properly... It just seems that once a press release is done the masses just harp and harp on getting the stuff done quickly so they can enjoy it. Case in point: the subs - as soon as they said there maybe a delay everyone flipped and complained; Expedition Everest - people BPM'd during the construction, and what happened the Yeti broke.... It just never seems that guests will ever be satisfied, they want instant gratification for things that havent fully gotten off the drawing board.
