I thought Snow White looked INCREDIBLE! The paint was amazing- everything looked perfect, and not faded, and the Dwarves! OMG the Dwarves- the paint on them, especially at the end, is amazing! The shading and realism they portray now, just absolutely knock my socks off. It looks like everything jumped right out of the movie, and into the ride. Particularly the vultures! WOW!

Not to be mean but I didnt think the referb was 'INCREDIBLE". Just some simple paint touch ups. Nothing too special that I noticed right away. But thats just me.

And you're entitled to that opinion, as I am mine.

    Re: Disneyland Project Tracker

It's very disappointing to see Pinocchio behind tarps. They should have waited to do these simple refurbs until after Labor Day when those of us who travel from afar and only get a chance to visit the park once a year or two want to enjoy a favorite ride.

Summer season is peak season for international travel. The guests in the park during summer are either high-end APers or buy at premium rate at the counter. They deserve a premium experience.

    Re: Disneyland Project Tracker

To say that is like saying that one guest is more important than another. Thats not nessisarily true. Like I said, there will never be a good time to close a ride.

All guests may be equal as human beings, but they are not equal in disposable income in the eyes of the Mouse. That's just the way capitalism rolls...

I will agree also.. there will always be someone disappointed by a ride closed for refurbishment. But they have to do it sometime. I guess be glad it is a "minor" ride and not a big ride like Space Mountain or Big Thunder closed during summer. They are now realizing they can spread the rehabs throughout the year more since it seems to be busy all year long now. Summer is not as maddening as it used to be.

    Re: Disneyland Project Tracker

Id rather miss one major ride any given time of the year compared to coming "off season" and missing two or three (or more) major rides because its not summer. Some people have to come at certain times of the year, that should mean they get punished because its not the time most other international people come...

    Re: Disneyland Project Tracker

Another annoying factor is that judging by the recent refurb of Snow White, there's not much being done except a cleaning and paint retouch. I find it hard to believe they need three weeks to do that. A four-day down time should be enough for a sweep and retouch.
