Question: What will be the difference between the Disney Gallery and the Dinseyanna store?
The Disney Gallery will have art shows with specific themes. Disneyana is more of a collectors shop, with various art pieces and collectibles for sale. The Disney Gallery will likely have a shop with similar offerings, just like the original Disney Gallery did in New Orleans Square.
Also, depending on how they've re-worked the space, the new Disney Gallery might lend itself to being a proper space for artist signings and product releases.

I hadn't heard it was official yet. If it is, as I sure hope, finally coming to reality, when will the attraction open?
With the D23 Twilight Bark there was mention of it, but not an official confirmation...yet. It does seem to imply that it will be announced.

"As a result, a legion of Storm Troopers from the 501st Battalion will be patrolling the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, September 12."
hmm now that I think about it. Isn't the 501st that fan group that dresses up like Stormtroopers? If so they aren't represenitives for Disney or Lucas...
Representatives. (Sorry... spelling nazi)
Also... I wouldn't see reason for Disney to have anything Star Wars-related at the Expo if they didn't have something Star Wars-related to pitch... this, coordinated with the supposed "greenlight" given to Star Tour 2, makes it seem like Disney definitely has a Star Tours-related trick up their sleeves for the expo.
