It's just selling regular Disney merchandise right now. Either they'll find another magic supplier (which obviously hasn't been going well) or repurpose it to something else eventually.

Star 2rs? Anyone. I'd hope for Lucasfilm to just be bought out by Disney. Indy and Star Wars belong there.

Let's hope they find another magic supplier soon. There is a small chain of magic stores in Nevada. Wonder where they get their supply.

You know, what I dont understand is why people WOULDNT want to do business with Disney. Why stop suppling? I mean come on..your selling to a Top 20 Fortune 500 Company people! (that may have changed though ;P)

There was a nice magic store here in the mall here in San Antonio, they sold the tricks at about 25-30 a piece and showed you had to do them in a curtained room once you purchased them. But I think they have since gone out of business, not that I think Disney would allow wallets that present fire.

The Magic shop is one of the few shops on Main Street that actually fits the theme. It can't be a supplier problem. Anyone could get on the internet and have that store stocked in 10 minutes with amazing high margin and on-theme magic tricks.

Here's a start, reprint "Magic from the Haunted Mansion." The book display is still right by the door (although re-purposed at the moment).
it's a sale of candy and a sale of plush, it's a sale of toys and disney stuff
there's so much that we sell, that it's time we tell, it's a plush plush sale!

Pictures show that most of the shelving has Sourcerer Mickey type Merchandise. At least half of the merchandise in the small store was generic Mickey hands.

I don't trust Disney. This is a ploy to sell more generic junk.

Was anything noticeably new done to Pinocchio from the refurb? Is Gepetto's Workshop/Crystal Shop still closed?

When I went on it the other day, I didn't notice anything different. I don't go on that attraction a lot so it looked the same

Mint Crocodile had a picture from his blog on 8/21 of pressure mats that were installed and stated that they were at the show doors. But of course, people wouldn't really notice them unless they were specifically looking on the ground

I went before and after the refurb, and it look like they fixed the timing on the blue fairy. Before she was on too long and didn't look right when you got closer to Pinocchio and Gepetto and you could see her over your shoulder. After the refurb, she fades out nicely as you approach.

Sweet, I noticed that issue before as well. Can't wait until next summer to go on it again as it was shut on my visit earlier this month.
