They could move the TDA building miles away, its not like the execs (aside from the new pres) actually take advantage of being so close they could walk into and around the park once and a while....

Sorry for being off topic, but is the Princess and the Frog Meet and Greet still happening? I wasn't sure if it would close or not after the Jubilee stopped?

I decided to go back to the resort so I took some pix of the ROA draining, so far the whole Fantasmic platforms are now exposed.

Again sorry about the poor quality.

Some facilities behind DL could potentially be added to the old Timon lot behind DCA. There is still plenty of open land back there. Moving Circle D to behind DCA could be somewhat easy. There is a tunnel behind Hyperion that comes up behind Space Mt. The horses for the trollys on Main Street could be transported through the tunnels easily (at least from what I can tell). Are there any other animals that need to be moved during the day? Otherwise they could be transported to and from the ranch to on stage areas at night.

Doing that though would just be moving the problem to DCA when they want to expand there.

Would it be stupid of me to suggest that Disneyland expand Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland and have the horses from Main Street USA go there after "work"? Or would that clash too heavily with the "theme" of the horses?

No, but the horses like to smoke when they go one brake, so you have to keep them off stage.

They need to be away from people when they are offstage. Ditto the animals in the Big Thunder Ranch.

I'm sorry, but I can't help but be upset with this. Festival of Fools and Circle D Corral and most likely the BBQ Place just for ONE ride? That's ridiculous! Theres enough room for a whole land with a few attractions there, so I just can't help but be shocked that its going to be used for only 1 attraction.

Sure, it will give the park one more ride....

And kill any future expansion plans at the same time.

You don't even know what they are going to do. I don't know why you would be upset. They want to expand capacity, I would think if the BBQ goes another restaurant or two will replace it. All Al said is they are analyzing those locations for the expansion plans, that doesn't mean one ride will use up every last remaining square foot. They still could decide a new land is the best plan for all we know.

Well, the way I read and interpreted it was that they were adding E Ticket Attractions, one in Tomorrowland, and one in the area occupied by Fesitval of Fools arena and Circle D Ranch. He mentioned nothing about a new land just an attraction.

I would be perfectly happy if they built Discovery bay, but it doesn't sound like they will.

Why add a new land when you've got a disaster of one on the other side of the park?
