    Re: Disneyland Project Tracker

No HBG, but, a very intriguing empty spot to the right of the Doombuggies as we approach Constance on our left.

Sadly, no floating Leota, and the stretching room could use that Florida upgrade. In fact, I really wish they'd add the Escher effects to the Doombuggy loading area. It's not really working as an "eerie lit limbo of boundless mist and decay" since they've upped the walkway lights. If I may go into Armchair Imagineer mode for a moment, as we turn to our right out of the changing portraits hallway, we could see our own footprints appearing on the ceiling. As we board the Doombuggies, the footprints could scatter and take their own paths amongst the Escher stairways.

Was impressed that the HM cob spiders seem to have been very busy, and, for the first time in years, the attraction reopened without several months worth of lighting problems.
So full of Disney Magic, my eyes are blue.

Are you refering to the fort on TSI? Because we are refering to the bridge by the hub at the entrance to Frontierland.

The old stroller shop just inside the gate is now closed, as is the one inside DCA. They're now both moved to the right side of the entrance to Disneyland in a new building, just outside the gate.
The new AP center is inside DCA, in Studio 12, in Hollywood Pictures Backlot. The Plaza Pavilion is still an AP distribution center as of now. There has been talk that the old stroller location inside Disneyland is to become the new AP distribution center, and the Plaza Pavilion to serve food again.

I know, but it didn't seem that that is what they were redoing. From the pictures, the bridge in front of the fort is what has been removed thus far. I understand now that the fort too may be getting some attention.

The post I was responding too said "It's not just the bridge... that entire fort is ready to fall down! Wood has been rotting for years" which from what I know sounds more like the fort on TSI, so I was just seeking clarification. Thanks for jumping in there though and aiding confusion.

What has happened to Floating Leota effect? Has it been abandoned for good in CA? For such a long time DL's HM really outshined WDW. It seems WDW has taken the lead in the race to have the best HM recently.

Probably just in-op that day. When the effect isn't working, the ball is just stable.

Leota was not floating around even before they changed Mansion for the Holidays back in September. So something else must be going on with it. Hopefully it is not gone for good.

I'm guessing that the mechanics that create the floating effect for Leota is broken and it's taking a long time to figure out a good repair period for it.

More likely is that they just haven't gotten around to it yet. When something is broken that doesn't ruin the show, they can let it go for a while before getting around to it. Since Leota herself still works, they can postpone working on her. Now, if she was broken, they'd have that up and fixed in no time.

    Re: Disneyland Project Tracker

yeah but the seance room is one of the most notable effects in the attraction. There has to be something pretty significant for it to be in 'B Mode' for this long. Must just be some part availability thing... here's hoping.
