Those doors just look ugly. They look like they have been added on as a fix and not designed to be a part of the system.

Thank you legislators in CA for saving more dumb guests from themselves and providing the opportunity to make the trams even less attractive and slower to load in the process.

Okay, I have finally uploaded the pictures. Sorry, for the quality, I forgot my camera at home, so I took them with my iPhone. These were taken near the Mickey and Friends parking structure. It was just sitting there. The doors are really easy to open. Enjoy! Click on the thumbnails to make them bigger.

Those makeshift tram doors are insulting.

I think the tram doors are great. Keeps the stupid people in and on the tram. Thank god. Sure it might take a little longer to load and unload people but that's not a big deal at all.
As far as the way they look, I don't mind them at all. Its not like I come to the Disneyland Resort to just stare at a tram.
But again I'm glad they finally decided to do that.

Wow, so this is what it's coming to...
People are so stupid, and so helpless, that they can't ride in a tram without falling out of the thing.
Then they'll sue Disney for not spoon feeding them common sense.

It makes me wonder how past generations survived to procreate the human race! I don't know how I wasn't killed by all the dangerous toys I had as a kid! never wearing a helmet on my bike, skateboarding barefoot and helmetless, riding in doorless trams, climbing all over a wild and and unsupervised Tom Sawyer Island...

I feel lucky to be alive!

Are the doors automatic or does a cast member open them up individually? looks like a cast member opens them but I could be wrong.

I don't understand all the complaints... I mean, yeah, do we really NEED doors? But if that decision is already made... these look like an interesting solution. I wonder if they controlled in bulk at all.. or will a CM have to walk down and check every door.

I was wondering about this too. From the pics though, it'll be checked by the CM's before the tram moves since theres no sign that it'll be remote controlled or something.

I'm wondering if the gap between the doors and the seats will possibly pose a safety risk — body parts getting caught and hurt? It'll be interesting to see how these affect tram load times and efficiency.

I imagine those doors are probably rather expensive. And that's all the more depressing.

    Re: Disneyland Project Tracker

Well I don't like the doors, but you probably have people who wouldn't use their ride restraints if a CM didn't check them. This will certainly make loading and unloading a longer process.
