This is why I am CONSTANTLY saying that we just need to wait and be patient and see. There is no use getting all up in arms at an early stage. Especially when information was leaked out pretty early. It's the same in the DCA thread. We see images of early models and think those are the final designs, so when we learn that things have changed, we get upset.

We really need to have a better understanding on our end of the process that these projects go through. Even the publicly announced changes are subject to changes and revisions, though that is less likely to be a major change.

Sometimes, I feel bad for you because it seems like 50% of your post are saying this exact same thing but everyone seems to ignore you. You are perfectly right though. Patience will lead to a better understanding of the NEAR future, not the distant.

Hey, can I ignore you?? Will it make you feel special??? Just kidding! I think between all the posts here, there are certain ones I specifically look for by specific people. So I pretty much skim through them rather than read them all. This could be the case for mycroft16.

By the way, what does mycroft16 stand for?

We just have to be really patient for the distant future.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it is. I tend to get verbose and I think people just skim right over them. I try to read all the posts so that I know how the conversation is flowing and what little things have been said. Picked up some interesting tid-bits about people/projects in little things that have been said.

By the way, what does mycroft16 stand for?
Mycroft is the name of Sherlock Homles' older and smarter brother. It's been my online name since I was about 13.

I also look for certian posters and skim thourgh the rest. Some are just too long and are only saying the same thing over and over and over and over did i mention they repeat the same thing over and they get boring....

Wow... I saw the TR, and I hope some of those things don't go through, like the gyroball, Wall-E, and the Superman-style Astro Orbitor.

It's a very odd/interesting article. I'm wondering if the stuff he saw were concepts that they've moved away from (some of them definitely are, like Fantasy Faire in Fantasia Gardens, Pixie Hollow in Fantasyland Theater, and the Bugs Land Expansion). Otherwise, I don't see why they would've let him talk about it if it was a viable project (unless he broke a nondisclosure agreement). I'm not saying some form of the Tomorrowland redo won't happen, but these concepts seem like extreme blue sky.

Interesting, those are certainly a few ideas I hadn't heard about. I had that gyro idea as a kid, but even then I thought better of it, that sounds too crazy.
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

A jet pack style AO would be cool! Standing vertically strapped into a jet pack (with a small seat of course) and no ride vehicle surrounding you as you push a lever to go up and down? That would be a blast! Imagine if they also relocated it to the top of a rebuilt PM station? Wow! Talk about turning a simple spinner ride into a thrilling attraction!

It would also be fitting, as you recall back in the 60's or early 70's they did have a jet pack exhibition in Tomorrowland, I suspect it is on YouTube. One guy strapped in and flying around Tomorrowland. I always wanted to do that.

You don't want a WALL-E ride? I have already designed one.
