Since I'm the one who tweeted that info, I should clarify, because it was a little premature.
This is what the Astro Orbitor structure looked like yesterday:

The blue I was talking about is that knobular part halfway up the full structure, but it's misleading to say it changed color, because it always was blue.
Here is a reference picture from about the same angle:
Decide for yourself if it's the same shade of blue, but it's too imperceptible a change if it is. Now, as for the magenta: if you look in the bottom right of the second photo at the teal-green pole that's holding up the planet to the side of the Orbitor structure, those poles are being repainted a deep magenta (there are three or four of them). You can see it in the extreme bottom right of MintCrocodile's photo.
it looks like the colors are changing ever so slightly. I think it would look odd if it followed the same matallic blue and white color scheme though out TL, it wouldn't fit the structure.
Now that i think of it, the Astro Orbiter looks like some relic. In a way its like an artifact that was reverse engineered to create the world of tomorrow (the new tomorrowland). Would that work thematically?

I'd love to see "Rockin' Astro Orbiter: Overdrive" where the rockets spin at 50 mphhaha
I guess no one has posted this, but the Harbor Gallery is going to open very soon. When I went there last, they had all the menu boards up. They will have a small selection of more breadbowl soups including Clam Chowder, Vegetarian chili, and Brocolli and Cheddar Cheese Soup. Also some sandwiches and salads and kid's meal. Just thought I'd share.
Try and tell that to Disney. The reason they list their rides as attractions, adventures, or experiances is because somewhere in the TDA building there is actually a backstory written up for pretty much every ride. Furthermore, many restaurants, lands and character meet-n-greet areas have back stories. Even the McDonald's fry cart had a backstory. Something to do with it being set up to appeal to the people riding BTMRR's ghost driven mine trains. Part of the fence was even made to look as though the cart had broken trough it as it rolled down BTM during a rockslide or something.
