The AO looks great. I saw it last night spinning around, but I'm not sure if it was properly lit? I can't recall if it's lit up at night, I don't really pay that much attention to it. I'm sure it looks even better during the day.

For protection. There's probably more finishing touches to be done before the rockets can be unwrapped.

Yea thats what i was thinkin. I just had seen them uncovered prior to this so i wasnt sure. Cant wait to see it with all the walls down.

So far, the top half of the AO looks great. The bottom half, eh, not so much; a little too much of TL 98 yellow-gold. But hey, way better than before.

I agree, it definitely is better than what it looked like before. I too wish the bottom was little bit different.

Is the AO staying at the entrance to TL? If they leave it there maybe something more thrillling can go atop the PM platform and the AO can be left for the little kids.

Yeah, they have to uncover them so they can access all the bolts and mount points to attach the rockets to the lift arms. Once they are all on and everything is ship-shape, they recover them to keep them looking nice and protected from the weather until they are ready to open the attraction.

I noticed one piece still missing- the lower part of the sphere that connect the revolving planets... does that make sense?

Techinally, it isn't an official opening. It's probably another dress rehersal like what happened wednesday. Some people say the show isn't really complete yet. It's supposed be officialy revealed on June 12th.
