Is there a Roy Disney statue in Disneyland? Or any other tribute I may have missed other than the balcony in NOS? If there is a Roy Disney statue in Disneyland I'd like to know where it is. If not, I think in front of the bank would be a really good place for it.

Girl bonding is just so necessary. It's just as important as "me" time. A good girl bonding session leaves you feeling so refreshed.I think of it as a NEED vs a want. There are just things that you need to talk to other women with. You may have the best relationship in the world with your husband, but there are just times you need your girlfriends. It makes for a healthier and happier you which makes everything else you do better.
The same statue is also in the Magic Kingdom at WDW, and I believe it was recently added to Tokyo Disneyland as well.

The Roy statue at WDW is very fitting since he made sure MK was built after Walt passed away.

There was a large portrait of him (and Walt) as you entered the Opera House. But they removed it when they changed it for the 50th. It was where the photo mosaic picture is now, right when you enter.
I think DL is more Walt oriented since it was the only park that he opened...well, and the original Walt idea. I don't know how much Roy had to do with the park except being the money man.

I would venture to say his level head and good business sense made the whole thing possible. Not sure if you have heard the story about Tiki Room going from restaurant to show but that was a great example of Roy's business sense vs Walt's creative imaginationI think DL is more Walt oriented since it was the only park that he opened...well, and the original Walt idea.
