favorite time of year to go?

My favorite time to go to Disneyland would have to be Christmas time. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the decorations and the big humungo tree. and having to wear jackets and walking down main street with a hot cup of coffee.

So what is your favorite time to go and why?

I love Christmas time at the park for all of the same reasons you mentioned. Plus that's the only time of year I can get the seasonal pumpkin fudge!

I think a poll for this was just created a week or two ago, but I'll bite--I prefer late September or early December. The weather's not hot, and the crowds are waaayyyy lower than many of the other times of the year. And the Christmas decorations aren't up, which, believe it or not, is a plus for me. I love Christmas and I love Disneyland, but the decorations in the park kind of feel like unnecessary additions to an extant masterpiece to me.

I love HALLOWEENTIME! It's the best. The decorations are amazing! All the characters are in their costumes! It's so fun and the Halloween event at Disney's California Adventure is so much fun!

No kidding! It's beautiful! Aside from areas being painted or refurbed, it really is the park at its best. I've said this before in other threads, but I went last year during this early part of December and I was able to ride Space Mountain three times in a row in the mid-early morning. 10 minute wait max each time. Thunder Mountain was a walk-on in the early afternoon--there were people in line, but there were so few of them that you could walk through the queue and literally hop aboard the first train in the station. Everything else was similarly uncrowded...pretty amazing.

I love Halloween with all the fun decorations and "Fall-ness" and I also love Christmas for the fireworks and how you have to wear sweatshirts and stuff. haha

Early May, Mid to late Sept when temps are nicer and crowds much lower.

Christmas is favorite of all times though. It was our Honeymoon and the park is just beautiful.

Going for Halloween for my 30th birthday though so that will be cool to experience (my favorite of all holidays)

Our revels now are ended. Christmas is my favorite time of the year to go. I love IASWH and all the decorations. It truly is a magical time.

Early December with a light sprinkling of rain. The CMs stand in front of the attractions begging for business the place is so empty. Last year we did the entire park (or at least everything we wanted) in about 4 hours.

Mid-February. Not too hot, not cool. Not too crowded.

Halloween time is by far my favorite time of the year to go to Disneyland. During the weekdays the park is always empty in October. You can get on and off every ride. Plus in October you get all the cool Halloween decorations and my favorite ride Haunted Mansion Holiday.
