Ham and Pineapple Pizza

I was at Redd Rocket's Pizza Port today, and when I asked for a slice of pineapple and ham pizza they told me it was seasonal and they didn't have it. What season did they change for, because it's still summer for a while. Also, I recall having that pizza around this time last summer. Does anyone know why and when this started?

Eh...I think the CM you spoke to didn't know what they were talking about.

Pizza Port did recently get rid of the Ham and Pineapple Pizza in favour of a Sausage and Mushroom pizza. This was in response to guest demand for a Sausage Pizza, and subsequent lack of demand for the Hawaiian Pizza.

However, it was never seasonal. The seasonal pizza is the Chicken Alfredo Pizza with Basil garnish which is served during the Christmas season.

Pizza Oom Mow Mow continues to serve a Hawaiian Pizza.

Seasonal is the wrong term to use.

Pizza Port has only ever had three pizzas on the menu: Cheese, Pepperoni, and a daily "special" which was meant to change and be rotated out. Occasionally this has been a hawaiian pizza, a sausage pizza, a mushroom pizza and a supreme pizza.

Hawaiian was never really seasonal in so much as it was "whenever we feel like offering it."

I could be wrong about this, but I think Pizza Port recently added the Veggie Pizza as a permanent menu option due to demand for more vegetarian options - but I could be totally wrong on that.

I do love a Hawaiian Pizza but when it's Disneyland and you really only have the money for ONE SLICE to be a meal, of course I'd go with Pepperoni.

Ham & pineapple pizza is my favorite. Mushroom & sausage? I love mushrooms but I can't STAND sausage. And my stomach can't handle pepperoni anymore... too greasy. Ham is the only meat I like on pizza these days.

Never had pizza at DL, but when I get it at Pizza Planet at WDW I get the veggie kind and pick off the tomatoes.

Same here. I love a speecy spicy sausage. And I too would pick out the tomatoes like Aimster.

It's a mix of both.

The Sausage Pizza is more or less permanent, as in there aren't any plans to change it at the moment, but at the same time, it is able to be changed out eventually. That's why the menu signage still says it's a "Special" Pizza, but if you purchase one and look at your receipt, it will say it's a Sausage Pizza.

It will be replaced by the Chicken Alfredo pizza for the Christmas Season, and then come back afterwards.

And yes, the Veggie Pizza is more or less permanent as part of the whole "Healthy Eating" initative across DLR Food & Beverage, as well as the demand for a vegetarian pizza in addition to the Cheese Pizza.
