About the old meet and greet Ariel

This has bug me for a very long time and well I like to know now send Ariel is no longer at her meet and greet spot. We have seen how Cinderella,Mickey,Peter Pan,Cuella De Vil and others go to the back when there time is up from meeting us but my thing is how do they do it for Ariel. I know it was a turnstile that turn her around to leave but did it take her down a tunnel or how did they do it?

yes, behind the clamshell was the only actual "Utilidor" of Disneyland.

It was something similar to the Wonkavator.

I was literally just wondering about that today! I mean, she couldn't very well just stand up and hop away! Although, that would be rather amusing...;)

EDIT: Allow me to be more specific...how does she literally move/walk/hop in the costume? I'm just curious...:blush:

Ariel has an underwater tunnel that connects to backstage so she can get ready for Parade of Dreams.

if ariel's mermaid costume for the meet and greet was anything like the one for fantasmic!, I would assume she would have gotten to her throne the same way. my friends and I were hanging out by the canoe docks in critter country during the show one night and, low and behold, the mystery was revealed to us right in front of our eyes! needless to say, we were amazed!

you're making it very hard to "keep the magic" ya know! Suffice it to say that Ariel can slip back into her human form very easily.... but King Triton has asked her to do it after her shell has turned back into the tunnel instead of in front of the guests
