Why Rex is a bad pilot

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I know why Rex isn't the best pilot. I rode in the front row of Star Tours today an saw a long red tape running down the side of his unit saying "Remove Before Flight" an it obviously wasn't removed. I thought it was pretty funny. It reminded me of those toys from "happy meals" where you need to take the string out before it works properly. lol

New aircraft parts will always have that red tag attached to them, which is meant to be removed before flight. REX, being a noobie pilot, still has his attached. A nice subtle wink thrown in by the imagineers.

Really? Wow, now I have to ride it and make sure I notice that.

    Kudos for finding that detail!

In the Island Charters store in Downtown Disney, they sell a red tie that has the white "Remove Before Flight" phrase vertically down the tie. I reallllly want it! Rex's tag reminded me of it. :oD

I saw that red tag a couple of weeks ago when I go on Star Tours. Was the red tag on Rex since the 80's?

Always pull the red flags - they stop you from being able to do anything. They apparently make a bad pilot even worse too.

We need to cut him some slack, he is just getting used to his programming.
When hinges creek in doorless chambers, and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, Whenever candlelights flicker, where the air is deathly still, That is the time when ghosts are present practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.

Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion!

Yeah, this is our first flight, and, well, his too.
