So I went to the lovely Disneyland Resort yesterday, & boy is there a lot of stuff going on. I got to the Resort for DCA's opening at 10am, & went straight round to Toy Story Midway Mania. However the ride was closed, so I first did the Sun Wheel.
Awesome new DCA maps
Not a lot of entertainment going on
The McDonalds logo is still on this billboard
Then Toy Story Midway Mania re-opened, so I went on it.
Mr. Potato Head was down
Next up I went on Orange Stinger & Mulholland Madness, which were both walk-ons.
The big McDonalds logo has been removed
McDonalds logo still on the SS Rustworthy
I then went round to Soarin' Over California to use my Fastpass.
After eating a sandwich I brought from home at Taste Pilot's Grill, I headed round to PT Flea Market to check out some of the pins, & checked out the status of the Golden Vine Winery.
The back of the chairs at Taste Pilot's Grill, perhaps from Hollywood & Dine?
The Vineyard Room has already been removed from all Golden Vine Winery signs
I then headed out of DCA & into Disneyland. I first went to the Emporium to buy some pins, & then had to go to First Aid for my brother. I then walked into Tomorrowland, & saw the area around Star Tours under construction walls.
Awesome new Disneyland Park map!
Halloween merchandise in the Emporium
What a lovely term!
I then went to ride Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, which only had a 10 minute or so wait.
Then I went onto Space Mountain, in the Stand By line, & I was amazed, cuz I didn't have to queue until I got to the loading area! And this was about 2pm!
Then it was off to Autopia, which weirdly enough had a longer wait than both Buzz & Space, at about 25 minutes.
Next up was Matterhorn, which had about a 20 minute line I would say.
While in line, I saw Monorail Purple being towed out of the park
Next up I headed around to Alice in Wonderland, & then Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin.
New colors on the It's a Small World attraction sign
I then split off from my parents, & got in line for the Princesses at the Princess Fantasy Faire. I was hoping to meet Ariel in her human form, but as I was in line, I heard her being announced as one of the three Princesses in the Royal Coronation Ceremony.
Belle, my second favorite Princess, being escorted in as I got to the front of the line
First up was Mulan.
Belle was second.
And Cinderella was third.
I then headed round to New Orleans Square to meet up with my parents & brother.
Disney executives inside Ariel's Grotto/Pixie Hollow
You cant see it all that well in this picture, but there is some sort of image planted in the ground
You should be able to see a fountain still running just above the construction wall
The whole area from the French Market, past the New Orleans Square Railroad Station, & through to the Haunted Mansion is completely walled off to guest access!
Next up, I headed over to DCA with my father to go see Golden Dreams one last time.
I then headed over to White Water Snacks for some grub.
My little brother's new Build-a-Bear
I then went into the Grand Californian store, Acorn Gifts & Goods, & picked up the new Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning DVD.
After that I headed round to Marceline's Confectionery to pick up some pretzels, & then popped in World of Disney for a quick second.
After that, I hopped on the Mickey & Friends Tram & called it a day.
and now back to school tomorrow... ugh
