    Question Magic Morning Entry

    Hello all.

Got a question on Magic Mornings. How do you get into the park early to take advantage of it? Do they have a special turnstile that you need to use? Most of the time I've been there, there are lines at each turnstile that you have to wait in before the park opens at its normal time.

You have to stay in one of the hotels on propety. When you do, you use the open turnstiles that says "Magical Mornings."

Thanks for the reply. We've never taken advantage of the magic mornings and might for our next trip in February.

I bought a 5 day parkhopper, and it includes one Magic Morning. Before I leave for my trip in December, I will check, and see which days are Magic Morning days. I always like to have the extra time in Fantasyland on one morning of my trip.

There are also several CMs around, so if you're unsure which turnstile to go to, just ask one of them.

Most multi-day parkhoppers bought in advance include one MM; I don't think it's included if bought at the gate, but you should get confirmation on that one.

    Re: Magic Morning Entry

You do NOT need to stay at Disney owned hotel.

Most 3 day and longer Advance Purchase ParkHoppers comes with 1 Magic Morning, no matter where you stay, even a freinds house in the area.

GetAwayToday.com sometimes has a special where you get 2 Magic Mornings with purchase of selected Multi-Day ParkHoppers.

The normal setup, the middle section of turnstiles are for regular entry, and that the turnstiles on the sides are marked Magic Morning. But sometimes (on light days) they only open the west end turnstiles.

As mentioned above, if you are not sure, just ask.

    Re: Magic Morning Entry

My DH and I got 7-day park hoppers and were really excited to see we get 2 Magic Mornings with that! I searched high and low on Disneyland's website but couldn't find any information at first on what the Magic days were. Finally, after using their search function and not finding the answer, but finding something else that linked to the answer, here it is (as of 10/2/08):

A Magic Morning early admission is included with 3 - 8 day Park Hopper® souvenir tickets. Guests may enter Fantasyland in Disneyland® Park 1 hour before opening to the general public*.
*Operation of Attractions and appearances of characters are subject to change without notice. Restrictions apply. Each Guest must have a valid multi-day admission media in order to enter Disneyland park and Fantasyland. Entitlement available for one morning throughout the length of your ticket on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
    From disney.go.com

    So exciting! Can't wait!

    Re: Magic Morning Entry

Darkbeer, you have the correct information on that.

Also, Magic Mornings, last I heard, are an hour of play before the park opens to the public. Tomorrowland and Fantasyland are the only areas open at that time.

Also, if you are staying on Property, be sure to call the hotel in advance to verify when the Magic Mornings are happening. Just in case they happen to change.
