So i was there for the final showing Sunday at 7:59. A lot of cast members were in attendance. Here is a photo of the final audience. You can see a lot of CM's stand in the rear and entrance door. The energy was high with a lot of woohoo's.
I don't know that that show ever filled to capacity. I saw it once and was confused, I got the message but was a little lost, it couldv'e been the heat that day. What are they going to do with the theatre now that Golden Dreams is gone?
I have to say that I am glad to see it go. I teach 4th grade and we study California history. It drove me crazy to go in and see what they did to the great story of California.
On the contrary, I believed it to be a nice story of California. And it was very emotional for me. You see, when I first saw it, it made me incredibly proud to live in California, & I am more proud & happy to live here than I have any where else in my life (NY & England)!
