As far as the siding being removed from Frontierland---I think I've narrowed it down.
An overhead photo shows that the switch for the approach to the siding would have been far inside the tunnel betwen Adventureland and Frontierland. The photo was taken in 1963.
New Orleans Square was dedicated in July, 1966. So, the tracks were removed when the New Orleans Square structues were built. That would probably be either 1964 or 1965.
