DCA Time Board?

Hey guys! Maleficent Fan here. I have a quick question for you great people!

Well, here it goes:

I was just strolling through some history on Darkbeer's great photo galleries (his 2004 edition) and I couldn't help but take a notice to this following DCA picture of what appears to be the park's wait time board (and it most definitely is in DCA as you can see Screamin' behind it):



I for one have no recollection of ever seeing this while at the park.

Was it something they removed years ago? (I think wait boards are such an excellent idea... DCA should have kept theirs.)

Anywho, am I crazy and is it still there (have I just flat out missed it?)?

Oh, by the way, photo, according to Darkbeer, was taken on 5/28/04.

You're not crazy...it's long gone. I'm not sure exactly when, but I'm sure someone else here will know.

If they ever do bring it back, I hope they put it at the front of the park where it should have been to begin with.

Lol, no! I just really like the Wicked picture, so it replaced regular Maleficent.

I guess Elphie (in that photo) sort of looks like her, though....

I saw the information board backstage at DCA. Its in the area the monorail goes by behind the Hollywood Backlot....

Uhhh, they would put the wait time board with all the DCA attractions on it somewhere NOT in DCA...?

I saw the information board backstage at DCA. Its in the area the monorail goes by behind the Hollywood Backlot....

I think thats a different board. Unless you are talking Hollywood over by ToT end and not the part right behind Greetings from California...

There also used to be a wait time board at the front of the park, on the Information/Guest Services Booth on the corner near Engine Ear Toys. The side that faces out towards the Greetings store was a wait board with a clock on top. For some reason, it only lasted a few months, I believe, then was taken down. Still seems odd why they don't see the need for a Wait Time Board in DCA anymore..

What are you talking about? The wait board was in Paradise Pier.

It's not the same board.
What number are you calling? It should go to the Info Station.

This board had to be dragged back and forth across the park and a Guest Relations CM got hurt lugging it around, so we axed it.

You're always more than welcome to ask the Guest Relations CM at the Info Station (just in front of EnginEars Toys) for any wait time, parade time or show time you're looking for, we still call and ask the attractions just like Disneyland's board, so we've always got updated times... you'll just have to interact with us.
