"enhanced" fastpass coming back for 2009?

Have anyone heard anything about the "enhanced" fastpass coming back through WTC or AAA travel for 2009? Supposedly it was dropped from the travel packages the last couple years due to YOMD.

If it comes back, it will be sold as a seperate item at the parks, and not part of a hotel package.

Right now, we know they will be offering some sort of Fastpass similar to a Dream Fastpass to selected guests (AP holders and guests on a multi-day vacation package) if it is their actual birthday as a substitute for the free one day admission.

You mean the Fast Pass with the Unlimited uses?? I despise those! I haven't seen them in a while.

But if you choose to pay the 40 dollars, you only get the 69 dollar gift card right?

CSAA was still offering the enhanced Fast Pass if you purchased a vacation through them at the end of 2007....we booked on our own as we were on a budget since going at Christmas time. But I believe they at least at that time were still planning to offer them into 2008.

Would anybody mind embellishing the details for this 'enchanted pass'? More specifically how it works with the hopper while attending on ones (un)birthday?

It was great, it was a version of a park ticket that was only available as a part of a travel package from AAA/CSAA (and before that I think WTC) where the holder could get unlimited fastpasses, it was referred to as an "enhanced fastpass". It ended in late 2007 when YOMD came in. So now that YOMD is gone, I'm hoping it will come back in some form or another in 2009.

If by "enhanced" you mean getting rid of it, then I'm all for it!
