    Favorite Splash Mountain Character/Critter?

I started a similar thread a while back, with this question for Pirates...and figured this attraction would suit itself to it as well, given the large number of the figures involved...which Splash Mountain characters/critters are your favorites?

Mine would have to be the singing wolves/coyotes/whatever they are that accompany the hay cart at the finale scene, and the vultures before the final drop....not sure why I like the wolves exactly, except they look very dapper and suave in their suspenders and dress shirts, but I like the vultures for being plain old menacing and well designed, and a carryover as well from enjoying them in America Sings.

Hmm... this is a tough one.

I guess I'd have to say... the take-me-along alligator.

I like the piano playing pig on the riverboat and the banjo playing turkey.

I love the possums in the tree right before the 3rd drop.

And I love Brer Rabbit. My dad used to read us the Uncle Remus stories when we were little and he could do all the voices.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. I hate all of them. Haha. But no really, I don't really care for the characters there....it might have to do with en E-Stop for over an hour when I was about 8 years old.

I would have to say the Take-me-along gator and then the vultures being a close second. That's why I was upset that the gator wasn't on the CD.

Whoa, that could seriously scar a child for life man! Have you sought counseling for this? Man, an hour of those songs would do it for just about anyone.

I just try to not go past the HM, and that usually prevents the nervous breakdowns, haha.

Number one has to be the Take Me Along Gator. That guy's just the coolest character in the whole ride, period. He's like the Sallah of Splash Mountain!

Other than him, I always loved the two white cats in the haywagon and the three can can-dancing chickens on the riverboat. Those three gators playing the music at the end are pretty fabble-luss as well.

I'm going to have to say the vultures. xD

    "Well, why aren't you laughing?"

    Something like that.

I like the baby opossums. Their mom is all like "The rabbit is facing certain deaaaaath!" and they're all smiling away!

I also have to vote for the gator trio singing "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" as well as all the amazing geese in the swimmin' hole.

Ooooh I like this thread. *is a Splash Mountain geek*
Hm...my favorite character is probably Brer Rabbit (how original, lol). And then the take-me-along gator is fun too. Then there's that donkey...the random donkey that randomly appears for no reason. I never fully understood why he's there...but I like him. And like Dreamer20k, I too like the baby opossums smiling away at Brer Rabbit's demise. It's just so amusing.

I like the mother rabbit that is really sad and singing that "warning" song.
