Was just wondering how many acres is the Disneyland Resort?
Past, but not recent, press releases from Disney mentioned 500 acres.
For example:
Disneyland Resort Newsroom: MICKEY MOUSE PENTHOUSE IS THE ULTIMATE MOUSE PAD FOR “BIG CHEESES” OF ALL AGES AT THE DISNEYLAND HOTEL
From what I heard, Disneyland occupies about 80 acres, DCA about 60, and the parking lot 20, while DTD occupies about 20 also. Combine that with the hotels and the parking lots, we are looking about maybe 300 acres.
500 acres? Seems exceedingly large, although I suppose with the strawberry fields it could add up to that much. But for the developed areas, I'd say that 300 is reasonably close.

when i was little, i liked pooh bear. i didn't know what an acre was, and i asked my mom one day how big 100 acres was. She guesstimated that it was the size of Disneyland's parking lot (pre DCA), so from then on we called it the 100 acre wood like in winnie the pooh.
Not including the strawberry field (and cast parking there) and other locations south of Katella and east of Harbor, the resort (parks, hotels, parking [LOTS of parking] and backstage) is a bit over 400 acres.
Disneyland is currently around 85 acres. Downtown Disney (shops and restaurants) is only around 10 acres.
