    I enjoy the Nightmare make over . . .

but I kind of wish it would go away.

I live up in Washington state and usually only visit Disneyland once a year, between the months of September and January. So the ride is either in Nightmare mode, or--which is more often the case--completely closed while they put up or take down the makeover props.

5ish months is a long time to have such an iconic ride packed away. I miss me some original Haunted Mansion. It's probably been a good 6 or 7 years since I've seen it (spanning about 5 trips.)

On the other hand, if I lived down there, I'm sure I'd enjoy the variety and wouldn't mind the downtimes. But I don't, so . . .

I've never been on HMH so I'm looking forward to it this year
    Everybody's got a laughin' place-
trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.

I agree, I really like the Haunted Mansion Holiday, but I also come during the winter and really miss the regular Mansion, plus it takes so long to put up and take down, just keep it the same.

I'll be going in a few weeks and this ride will fail to make me happy.

I agree that it needs to be put into HMH mode AFTER Halloween. HM is perfect as the original during Halloween.

UGh.. Time to write another e-mail to Disney....

Ugh. NBC was such a good movie before HMH was started. Now everyone "loves" NBC. It's so overrated.
