Something fun for couples/families

Back when I was 8, so 21 years ago now, my parents forced me to sit still for all of 2 minutes in the silohette studio on Main Street. The purpose... on the wall they have a frame with their silohettes and each of us 4 sons. I remember always loving looking at it when I was little.

On our recent trip to Disneyland, I told the Missus that one of our souvenirs was going to be getting silohettes done so that we could do this for our family too. We don't have kids yet... but someday I too will force them to sit still for 2 minutes.

I highly recommend it to anyone. It's an art form you don't see very often any more. The CM we had do ours was Sylvia. She's been working there for 30 years now, and it's quite possible that she did mine 20 years ago as well. She is amazing, and it's worth stopping by just to watch her go with those scissors.

My girlfriend and I want to get these done so badly. We keep procrastinating but I really hope that during our next trip to the park (This Friday) we will actually take the time and sit down and do it. They look great.

I personally think it is one of the best souveniers to bring home. My husband has his from 40+ years ago, one of the two of us the year we were married, both of our sons had them done when they turned 10 and the topper our favorite pet cat who has since passed away.

Yes if you bring in a picture of a loved one or pet and they have time they will do a silhouette from it you just have to make sure it is a good profile shot.

So cute, this has been on my must-do list for some time now. Does anyone know if 3 kids can be put on one? Wondering if I should do 3 seperate or 1 with the 3 kids.
And, is the frame expensive? or worth it?

They can fit 3 people for sure. I was able to get 2 framed ones for about $60. Remember even if you only frame one you get 2 cut copies. You get a discount on the frame with your AP if you have one.

I have done this many times at both Disneyland, and Disney World. I am hoping to do something special at the silouhette shop when I am there at Christmastime.
