Re: Muholand Madness

You might have time for both, make use of fast passes to help eliminate wait times.

ToT is a themed attraction, (although the storyline is more coherent at the WDW version). Every opening day ride (they are NOT attractions, they are just rides) in Paradise Pier is an abomination to the Disney name. If it wasn't for Toy Story, Paradise Pier wouldn't be worthwhile visiting.

Soarin' is definitely worth experiencing also. And make sure to at least walk in the Animation building lobby - just to see one of the best things DCA has to offer. There are a few things to do there, but do make sure to see the Toy Story Zoestrope, it's continuously showing, and only takes about 2 or 3 minutes, and there is no waiting to see it. Also, not sure when you are visiting, but if Aladdin is showing, when you visit, That is very much worth your time, maybe see a show while waiting for your fast pass time for either ToT or Soarin'.

I would agree. I like Mullholland Madness..........not a huge thriller of a coaster, but it's good 'filler' - in my estimation at least.

I'd go and get a fastpass for ToT, ride MM, then go to ToT when your fastpass time starts. Its an easy way to kill 20 minutes and get another ride in.

Yeah, but the only problem is they're on the complete opposite side of the park from each other.

Re: Muholand Madness

If you're pressed for time, ToT all the way. Best themeing in DCA + biggest thrill of both parks.

The one time I rode MM, I thought it was ugly and a waste of time (even though it was a walk on line). However, I suppose I'd rather ride it than say, Maliboomer or Heimlich's Chew-Chew

Though you could probably do both if you wanted to, since they both have Fastpass and not many people like MM anyway, so the line's usually short.

Re: Muholand Madness

hehe I guess I'll have no clue how much I can do until I get there with the time and lines. I have a good game plan on what I want to do and what order to do it at Disneyland. I'm working for it at DCA.
What is the line normal queue estimate for Toystory Midway Mania?

Out of the rides: Soarin over California, California screaming, Toy Story Midway Mania, Mul. Madness, and Tower of Terror.

What order would you do them in and which ones would you fast pass?

At park opening, go past Soarin' Over California (not California Soarin') & get a Fastpass, then head straight over to Toy Story Midway Mania. After you'll be able to get on Screamin' & Mulholland with little to no wait. After that, it should be time for your Soarin' FP. Ride that, & then head over & ride or get an FP for Tower of Terror.

At the moment, it's usually anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes.

Re: Muholand Madness

Well.. say if I'm getting there at 12:30 to 2:00 rather than at park opening and I want to put in a bite to eat at the Corndog Castle?

Then it really depends on how busy the day is.

Re: Muholand Madness

haha It will probably be busy if I'm going in Mid July during the weekday. I was just trying to figure out a collaborative way to fastpass some while queue others to maximize time.

Just wanted to say thanks for everyones posts.. and that Disney Animation suggestion seems pretty good. I forgot that was there
