    TSMM several months later

I went on TSMM yesterday, a quick 20min line at the most. This is only the second time I have been on it (first was a 40+min line in the "soft" opening). I had previously posted my thoughts on this "attraction" as being little more then a glorified video game. It's a lot of fun, but not something I would be willing to stand in a long line for. So I ask, now that the lines have started to subside, have others changed their opinions of Toy Story Midway Mania, or has it merely served to enforce their initial thoughts?

Shorter lines means more times I can ride it in one day...

Hmmm. I never really thought of it in those terms. While the ride is fun, I would much rather just go on an attraction than play along with one. I think there are enough video games out there. We don't need to have a "video game" to entertain us EVERYWHERE we go. Think of all the original attractions before TSMM and BLAB. FANTASTIC rides without having to interact with them. So, in light of Tech's opinion, I can play a video game at home, why would I want to play one at Disneyland.

Only been on WDW and the lines are still INSANE there. only went on it once, and it's number 1 to ride in either park. iLOVED it.... it was so much fun, the pace was great and it was a good competition. It's great to know that lines in DCA are so low... maybe now we can go on it a few times dring our next trip!!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

My opinion is still the same as it was since it first opened, & that is that it's completely awesome & amazing!

I loved the ride to begin with. I think i've been on it 3 or 4 times now. 2 with an ap preview and the others waiting in line for over an hour. Shorter lines just means I will lose it more!

I like TSMM. Like, not love. I'll go on it if the line is short, and enjoy myself. But I do agree that it is, essentially, a video game. But a very well made one.
Does anyone even bother with signatures anymore?

Enjoying it! But I will only go if the wait is short. I like what the Imagineers did. I also like the touch of letting us continue to shoot (zero points) when the ride is at a stop point. Keeps us busy while waiting. I also like the que and Mr. Potato Head. (Yay Don Rickles!)

I just recently went on it for the first time with my mother and we both absolutely loved it. I think it's amazing fun--and that's what I'm there at Disneyland/DCA to have, right? Fun. :]

On one hand, I enjoy it very much. On the other hand, I almost always walk away frustrated because I'm not able to beat my previous personal high score. If anything I seem to be getting worse at it.
