My guess is they haven't... which is annoying because that is why the system was removed to begin with. People would simply pocket the pass after the film and then all ride together. Even if you split the party up, they would usually meet up at the top of the stairs and all ride together. The other issue is people who would argue and actually demand to ride together even though the pass is specifically for single riders. All in all the various issues led to the system being removed. For those who use it correctly, I'm glad it's back, because it is a time saver for an individual who just wants to ride and doesn't mind being solo. For the CM's, my apologies, but it's not my headache anymore!

If it is mirroring the old program then there will be several different color single rider passes, for different days, same as Child Switch.

Thumbs up Re: Single Rider Line returns to Indiana Jones Adventure

Great to see more Single rider lines, let's all make sure we remember the "Rules" of the single rider program and share these rules with family and freinds who may not be aware of them. This will help keep the single rider program functioning.

* There is NO preferred seating for a single rider. You will be seated in the first available OPEN seat.

* A single rider can expect to wait for a undetermined amount of time until a empty seat becomes available. Generally there are usually always empty seats but be aware there is no guarantee of immediate boarding.

* Single Riders will NOT be seated with members of the same party even if everyone is waiting in Single Rider together . If someone wishes to ride together they must wait in the general que or fast pass que (assuming everyone in the group has a fast pass)

* Anyone abusing or line cutting the single rider line program should expect to be reported immediately to a cast member and possibly ejected from the park by violating the parks stated line cutting rule. This is how we lose these privileges by abuse of the system.

Hopefully if everyone follows these simple rules we can expect to have this single rider program around for a while.

Your the best!

I just hope that it's not abused as much as it was in the past.

I wish I could say it will work, but judging from past experience and the lack of responsibility in society I am pretty confident this system is doomed to abuse yet again.

Re: Single Rider Line returns to Indiana Jones Adventure

Well, if it weren't for the whole having to watch the safety video, the single riders could just go all the way up the exit to the elevator, up and over, and that would eliminate the using this to skip most of the line, like techskip has said happened in the past. Can't they just tell the single riders before they go in the elevator, to take the buckle from the right, and insert it into the left? It wouldn't take that much time to do, and would still meet the safety rules for this attraction.

Make sense?

You're not the only one, I never knew that either. Great news though.

Actually it wouldn't. The safety video is required by DOSH and in the event that an individual is unable to watch the video the Lead has to read the requirements to them out of the OG. This happened to Tom Cruise actually. It isn't as simple as "sit down and buckle up". Also a CM at Unload would not be allowed to issue it due to the noise in the station.

If you want to be highly technical electric wheelchairs were never meant to be in Indy's queue at all. This adds another factor to the DOSH safety film issue. Because most rental chairs and some private ones have difficulty making the tight turns into the film room, through the office, and around the ramp before being let out at the bottom of the stairs. When I left the rentals weren't even allowed in the elevator because too many people took out the doors. As comical as that sounds, it broke the elevator enough times that the powers that be said they couldn't take them on anymore!

Re: Single Rider Line returns to Indiana Jones Adventure

Used the single rider line this evening. The regular wait time was 45 minutes. Using single rider it was a breeze. Walked right up the exit, escorted across the Routanda, walked past everyone watching the movie and waited at the rope, let in and up the ramp where the CM let me in to use the elevator (which I did not like because I am claustrophobic), back down the other elevator (shudder) and then out for a wait of less than 30 seconds before I was directed to a vehicle. It was great. I really hope this sticks around.

OMG. DOSH requires it? To see a video about buckling up, and putting your earthly goods in the safety pouch, should our journey become... bumpy? Seriously? Yikes. The world really is full of too many people not using their common sense, so that the rest of us using our common sense have to suffer with all of these "dumbing down"s and ridiculous safety measures.

Oh it gets better than that. Ever wondered why only Indy has its seat belt film as required viewing? Why isn't there a seat belt video requirement on Soarin', Tower, Star Tours, Autopia, Matterhorn, Astro Orbiter, or any other attraction that uses a seat belt?

Sure Tours & Soarin' show you the seat belt in the video, but it's not a requirement like Indy is. Only Indy has the requirement. I call shenanigans.

Well, I guess they'll realize there's a problem when all the Single Rider passes start disappearing, and there's constantly clog-ups upstairs with these split up single-rider groups trying to get back together. There's no way for a CM to tell who's a single rider and who isn't if all guests exit the film room in the same queue. None. No amount of increased signage is going to change anything. It's unenforceable, will be exploited again, and will be shut down again if nothing changes.

How's that line about not learning from history go again?

soarin and ST both have seat belts as part of their safety video which must be watched prior to entering the ride vehicle.

On Autopia, Matterhorn, and AO a CM individually checks each guest.

The difference is a CM checking each guest individually, vs a large group vehicle. All of the rides with those vehicles have a safety video including a seat belt segment. I'm not following your complaint

I heard it is only going to be around for 10 days.

It is a shame that something like this gets abused.
