Miley Cyrus to sing with dad at Disneyland birthday party

Are Miley Cyrus fans insane to pay $62.50 per song just to see her perform?

Miley will celebrate her Sweet 16 at Disneyland on Sunday. Tickets for the event cost $250 (or more). She'll sing four songs.

I, for one, am very tired of hearing about the party. Can't this all be over and done with already?

well to be fair they are not just paying 250.0 to hear four songs. They are paying 250.00 dollars to mingle with other celebrities, have unlimited rides on a fairly uncrowded Disneyland and plenty of other specially made entertainment.

i really do not follow Miley since she is not aimed at my age group but in regards to the cost, i have seen people pay thousands to watch men fighting eachother for an oblong ball and grabbing their ***** for a couple hours. 250.00 does not sound bad for a private party, music and fun

I think they may have made a real blunder in constantly referring to this as a Miley Cyrus birthday event. In point of fact the evening is being held to raise funds for Youth Service America. Miley is simply the 'bait.' Here's a link for more info regarding the YSA.

I still do not think it is a bad price. If my favorite band (METALLICA) had some kind of special event like this and the proceeds went to a charity I would definitely go.
I know she is only singing a few songs but imagine how much fun your child would have. Not only do they get to see their favorite performer sing but they also get to be at her B-Day party.

I wouldn't attend this event, but I don't think that the pricing is really that bad. If it's for charity can't you write it off on your taxes?

In order for a charitable contribution to be written off, it must be given directly to a qualified charitable organization. Then said charity must give you a letter noting the amount of the donation. Since the money is being paid to Disneyland, the IRS will not allow it.

Well that sucks! It's still worth it if 100% of the ticket price is going to charity.

I'm tired of hearing her name(s) everywhere and seeing her name(s) everywhere. The posters almost don't make sense, grammatically; "Come see Hannah Montana AND Miley Cyrus."
