Pictures Brief Photo Update: 10/3 - Miley Shindig Set Up and Fortuosity Shop

So, I took my 70-300 lens in this morning to see if I could make it past security and....I made it in!

I had my wide angle lens on as I went through the bag check and I had the other lenses in my bag. The security guy was looking for much larger lenses, so I was relieved to get the 70-300 lens in as it is 6 inches before extending to about 10.

Anyway, I'll save those shots for later. Today, I just wanted to get a few shots up before heading into work.

First of all, the Fortuosity Shop was open today:

And secondly, preparations are already under way for Miley's big party on Sunday.

Extra lights are going up all around the park:

And some lovely signage has already shown up near Big Thunder...

It looks like she will set up camp out on TSI for her performance...

So...it looks like the island will be closed for the weekend.

Finally, it looked like some type of game/reality show thing was taping this morning, but I couldn't quite figure out what it was:

That's all for now.

I have a photo thread coming that I started in...um...July, but it's only about 1/4 of the way done.

I'll try to finish it soon.

The New Shop looks Fantastic! It's got some good theming and it looks like the old antiques shop. This is just me but Miley is starting to piss me off more than before.

I loved seeing the new shop! It looks like they integrated the watch shop somewhat into it, along with all the other things. It looks antique and quaint. I think it'll fit in with the rest of Main St. just fine.

Interesting that Miley's birthday party and Gay Days 2008 has fallen on the same weekend. It's going to be a madhouse, for sure!

The shop looks pretty good, probably the best themeing that MS has got in a while. That's a good sign.
