Trip Report Trip Report -- 10-5-08

Alright, time for editing this post with the interesting stuff! The day started off by me hitting the snooze button too many times, resulting in me missing the first meet at 6:30am.

Once I got to the resort round 6:40, I forgot to go to MF and not towards Timon. So, I was directed to park in the Pumba lot and walk to the gates. Lucky me! /sarcasm.

While on my way to the gates I took this somewhat neat photo of ToT.

Once inside the gates, I saw a few fellow MC'ers on mainstreet and walked with them to Fantasyland. I then split off to attempt to find MonstersGoBoo, Jenny, and lovedisney33 and his friend.

I failed in finding them for several hours, but I took some neat shots of the park during sunrise.

The above device is used for the pinwheels in the firework show.

Take notice of the white cylinder on the left side in the above picture.

Now look at the picture below. Literally, as I walked from Fantasyland into Frontierland a few of them suddenly lost power and deflated. Myself and several other guests found it rather amusing.

More neat photos of the Mansion during sunrise.

Finally Jenny was able to get my number from seawolf, who couldn't come to the park that day. So they called me and we met at the Tiki Room. It was time to do some low light experimentation with my new camera. Professional/experienced photographers may want to shield their eyes from the following images of the Tiki Room.

Tornado of Birds!!!!!! I actually did this on purpose, and it came out just like I wanted.

Clouds and SM. Neat looking for some reason.

Looking down from the TL Monorail Station I saw this friendly CM.

Once on the Monorail I proceeded to take 3.5fps with my camera of backstage for myself and Datameister (and any other inquiring minds). The monorail pilot was rather amused, haha.

When passing Indy, we were treated to these neat views......(sorry for the bluriness, still gauging the shutter speeds).

You can see some EMV Tires, and an EMV in the maintenance bay, with "water-people" in the seats.

Sweet! You know me...always love those monorail photos...

And a hint - for shots in broad daylight, most lenses will let you get away with very fast shutter speeds. When in doubt in those sorts of circumstances, just go with a faster setting.

At noon we met at the Hub. We went over to the gardens and took a nice big group photo.

We went to get some lunch, and our little group kind of split up, and we went to the parade after.

And for MonsterGoBoo, here is "Pink Flower", haha.
