    Re: Birthday @ Disneyland!

Planning a Birthday Celebration now.....At the Plaza Pavillion you can make reservations at $10.00 per person. It includes a Cake decorating contest, Pat-E-Cake runs the party and Mickey and Minnie (or other characters) make an appearance for photos.

The Birthday sticker is available at City Hall, I'm not sure about ID though, hopefully not, because the Birthday Girl has none and it's not the exact date of her Birthday.

After you get your sticker, then you get a Birthday Call from Mickey...kinda cute.

The best part is every Cast Member and some guests wish you a "Happy Birthday" all day long!

You can get a sticker no matter when your birthday is!
The CM even made my i into Mickey ears!
Most CMs will even say happy birthday to you... we made a game of counting how many did. Even Mickey in his own way said Happy Birthday to me
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

When I went back in March on my birthday I got a birthday sticker and my friends got me a birthday bucket. It was also the first day they started sellin the golden ears.. so I was one of the first kids on the block with 'em! It was tons of fun. I recommend Goofys Kitchen as well! I celebrated there

You can get the birthday sticker even if it isn't the exact date. No ID is required.

Special things, are you talking freebies, cheapies, or ideas to do?

Freebies - Birthday sticker, and generally CMs will wish you a happy birthday.

Cheapies - $5 will get a birthday bag at many restaurants, $10 per person for the cake party at the Plaza.

Ideas - Balcony seating for Fantasmic!, meal at Blue Bayou, call Disney Dining for ideas. My daughter's 16th birthday was set up by Disney Dining. It was a birthday she will never forget. They usually have some really great ideas.

When my daughter turned 16, we arranged with Disney Dining and allowed them to set it up. They arranged a dinner at the ABC Bistro (I miss that place) and I faxed them info about my daughter, and the cast did a good 15 mins based around her. It was a riot. Then we had preferred seating to Blast!, followed by meeting the cast of Blast!, then went to the train station to watch the fireworks, then were escorted to the riverside seating for Fantasmic!. The dessert buffet was great, and it was then we met Bora. She led everyone in the area in singing HB to my daughter (after making her stand on a chair.) They brought her the birthday Mickey bucket, and she got a stuffed Mickey that had a birthday cake attached. It was really a lot of fun.

Is this like a doggie bag or something? I've never heard of this. And why does it cost $5?

Never heard of the "doggie bag" either. By the way....the Fantasmic buffet is a dessert buffet only, no dinner. $56.00 per person, ouch!

the Birthday I had with some Micechatters, (thanks Wolfy!) We went to the Blue Bayou. I got a small chocolate Mousse(I think with a candle) Anyway, that is one and the stticker was cool I wished I would have counted how many CMs said Happy Birthday. (Not that it was priority to have them do that.) It was special when they did. Mnay thanks to those who did too. I had a great time with everyone. Not too mention a break from he Daily Grind up here.

They are at some of the restaurants, its a little "goodie" bag, not really worth it IMHO. Goofy's kitchen does them, I think a couple other places have them too. Look thru the Disneyland site and search under Birthday.

Free tortillas!!! Do not miss out on them! The Mission Tortilla Factory will give you a bag of warm tortillas for free if you go ther with a birthday sticker.
Did you hear about the three blondes who were driving to Disneyland?
After being in the car for hours, they saw a sign that said "Disneyland left" so they turned around and went home.

    Re: Birthday @ Disneyland!

Most food locations offer "Birthday Buckets" for $20 each. More aimed at little kids, they come with a bad-tasting cake (we know it's bad because no one ever finishes it), and some toys and treats in a themed bucket. Available is Mickey, Princess, Pooh & Friends, and Buzz Lightyear. Selection varies by food location. All are available I think at the Blue Ribbon Bakery.

At the Blue Bayou, a complimentary song and chocolate mousse is given to every guest who is celebrating a birthday with a purchase.

At the Mission Tortilla Factory, if it is your birthday, they will give you a BAG o' tortillas. It makes a great snack throughout the day, so stop here early. And my preference is always to wait for corn tortillas. Yum. :9

If you stay at one of the Resort Hotels and it is your birthday, a photo of a character signed will magically appear under your door, with a button inside that states "Happy Birthday, ________!"

Any guest can go to City Hall to get a birthday sticker, and they will also get a special phone call from Goofy on a cool old rotary phone!
