That would be very cool if they did that.

That would be very cool, but I think the cars ywould go too fast for people to really figure out what it is. I also think that it would be a little much for Screamin'. But very creative idea!!

Egads, no. Morgan trains are ugly and they don't ride very well, either. Colossus at Magic Mountain uses Morgan trains and it doesn't help the ride at all.

Instead, how about these:

It's the look they are going for, not necessarily the manufacturer.

I don't know if that was a slam and saying that I'm stupid, but I'll overlook it if it was. As for something I'd like to see added to California Screamin'...a little more color. Not a lot, mind you. I don't want this to be the gay pride flag of roller coasters, but I'd like just a little bit more to give it a bit of a "punch."

On the BART trains in San Francisco they have a 'flip book' on the walls between the Embarcadero and Montgomery stations (now both ways).

Yeah I saw them last month when i took bart. If they put them on screaming it can actually be a really cool effect. It would add something more to this pretty plain but fun ride and it shouldnt be too expensive.

An even more plused idea would be to have video monitors, or projections! Anyone ridden the metro rail going towards NoHo, they have videoscreens that look like they go with you through the windows in the tunnel, and they put commercials and stuff, but its REALLY trippy! AND COOL!!

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

I love those video screens...They are pretty funny...they had a Metro safety video playing the last time I was on the metro rail....I think the Autopia videos have more production value than the safety video...haha

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

I'm glad to see progress on Screamin'. These "surprise" projects are even more fun to track since we really don't know what Disney has up their sleave from day to day.
So I have been wondering if the Paradise Pier logo on the side of Screamin' will be the one that was removed from just below the loop at the start of TSMM construction? It's about the same size and would save some money if reused. Not sure that Disney saved it, although plans for these changes were already in progress when TSMM was under construction so its possible. I guess we'll find out.

In other news, MiceAge.com (in their update today - 1/23) is once again reporting that the gift shop facades are not being renovated "anytime in the near future". Seems the funding has been pulled and moved to other projects. Not being an alarmist, just reporting. Although this "rumor" seems to be picking up steam. So there may be some truth to it.
