That is the first thing I noticed as well. Makes you wonder if they are really going to keep Jumin' Jellyfish, or maybe the concept art was done before the decision. Guess we'll have to wait and see...

The Project Tracker says that it is supposed to be removed prior to the World of Color show's debut, but things certainly could have changed since I last updated that entry.

Perhaps Baloo might be able to share some insight?

Thanx for the update on the new Project Tracker! If DCA can really become what these renditions display, than we have something VERY special coming to SoCal!

I was at DCA last week to try out Toy Story Mania (great fun BTW) and the facade of the TSM Buiding was beautiful... I mean, it really brought new life to a rather boring pier.

It wasn't. It just got moved back in the thread once it became unstuck and was organized by the date of the last post..

    It's here.

Love the thread still, and getting more and more excited about the changes to come. Even since we were last in DCA, so much will have changed!

I heard rumors that the tightwads at Disney are starting to scale back on these plans for DCA, in addition to their idiotic decision to put Star Tours 2 on hold. Has anyone heard anything more definite?

Anyone noticed the "Majestic" behind the fun wheel entrance in the paradise pier concept art? A new theater perhaps? If so what kind of show will they play there?

A doubt they're going to put a theater back there. That has never been rumored.

I don't see why they'd remove 'em. They fit well with The Little Mermaid.

I don't see why they would need to remove Jumpin' Jellyfish; It would probably fit well with the new grotto play area.

Also, I was looking at a piece of concept art and I noticed that the Playhouse Disney marquee was missing from the picture. Is it going to be removed?

I sure hope so. It's so gaudy and ugly, it destroys and sense of theme if it's in your sightline.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

I could definitely see the Jellyfish stay. There is a much better version in the little mermaid section in Tokyo, so having it be part of the Little Mermaid here only makes sense. Maybe they'll make a few upgrades to the Tokyo version.

on an unrelated note, just wanted to say how much I love this thread and thank you MG!

Wow. I really can't wait for all of this to come into reality. JJ would really fit into TLM attraction, and play area. I would like to see some bumper cars go into PP. Maybe themed to Mickey and Donald....and take out King Triton's carousel, and retheme it to Mary Poppins. What do yall think?
