The jumping jelleyfish are not schedule for removal till WOC premiers like mastergracy pointed out. That is sometime 2010 most likely sometime spring. Also notice that the rendering is not really to scale. The view from where the attraction is being seen is actually where part of the Screamin structure is. There really is not that much room betwen the structure and the orange stinger elevator. The structure behind it is also in the worng position. that building rendering is suppose to represent the pizza oom mow mow. The artist took lots of liberty in adidng background scenes as well as the look and feel of the foreground in the picture. Note that even the reflections of the attractions are backwards, that was probably an oversight. I also do not see anykind of indication of the zephyr and that attraction IS staying Last edited by Baloo; 10-11-2008 at 09:51 PM.

The budget for DCA's projects was already approved awhile back. The project is already very far into development and design. Contractors are already also ready for construction. At the moment DCA's projects are still moving ahead. Other projects which were not that far into development are the ones being reviewed but not cancelled. The disneyland's tomorrowland project is still moving forward and hopefully that one and Tokyo's Disneylands complete overhaul will continue and not be postponed.

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II It's nowhere near the Mermaid attraction and will be an eyesore next to the themed Beergarden. The other attractions next on the wateredge, silly symphonies and Zephyr will also have a more lavish theming then they are now. There is little that can be done to the jumping jellyfish to make it fit te time period of the rest of the attractions. |

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II So what goes into the space of Jumping Jellyfish? Or will it be walking space since I assume the Beer Garden sticks out a bit more into the current walkway.

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II Hmm.. It actually could fit in the whole "Victorian Seaside Pier" theme they are going for, plus it would give the area a touch of real "Walt", instead of becoming the equivalent to Toontown Pier.

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II I would thing a big, opulent Victorian-style carousel with the animals that are native to California would be pretty cool. Maybe a double-decker...I want to ride the grizzly bear! |

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II I agree, the carousel should fit its land, not the entire park, and I don't think Mary makes sense in PP. I think they should just relocate the existing carousel but iIf they build a new carousel they shoud move it too, the current location sucks. |

Maybe a double-decker...I want to ride the grizzly bear!" that would be nice but wouldn't that make it just another carousel found coast to coast in many amusement park. I am just trying to understand this constant believe that every attraction needs to tie directly to the California theme. Can't it just tie in to the Land's theme which already has a tie to the overall parks theme and maybe during the process have a little of the Disney detail added to it if necessary. Especially when it comes to the pier. Old seaside piers had an eclectic array of themes and architecture even the dozen or so that dotted California's coast |
