Oh wow. I really like the dark red and grey. They're a much better combination than the orange/yellow and teal colors of the Sun Wheel.

I can't help but think of the X/X2 paint job. That Magic Mountain coaster changed color schemes from a fruity yellow/light pink to hardcore red/dark grey. Which was good. Very good in fact.

I'm not sure yet that I like Mickey's Fun Wheel more than the Sun Wheel, or if it's just change for the sake of change.

There are a very limited number of times when change for the sake of change is a good thing. It's called re-branding. Mickey's Fun Wheel is more of a re-branding thing. They aren't plusing the ride, they aren't doing anything but changing the image. And that can go a VERY long way, especially if you have a brand that is brokern, like DCA.

We had a website where I work that was just not doing well. It wasn't driving traffic to our main site at all, so we changed NOTHING but the graphical look of it. The layout stayed the same, the content was identical. Colors and header graphics changed and suddenly it became a valuable, functioning website.
