I think that by just removing the structure and the surrounding ugly fountains they could build a structure for the attraction that compliments but not blends in with the Midway Mania attraction next to it. Something tall with lots of lighting and plenty of ornamental pieces on the structure. | |

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II I like the signs. They do not stand out to much from the background yet they have a touch of color to attract the eye. Obviously the color pallet might have looked better if made out of real wood instead of it painted on plywood but it still works. |

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II So artwork of the sunwheel and the orange stinger have been leaked out and or released by Disney. Is anyone curious what the zephyr, screamin queue, ariels grotto, and treasure in Paradise will look like after they are rethemed? |

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II No, I don't think anybody really cares what those are going to look like. Come on, of course we're curious what those parts of PP are going to look like. I'm also curious how the Beer Garden is going to look, how the dino and other suvenier shops are going to look, how AG/Princess Palace is going to look, there's a lot that most of us haven't seen yet. |

But, it's a good question. I think you know everyone on here is dying to know, especially the Screamin queue, since it's been talked about quite a bit in these forums.

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II I'm with Uncle Bob... I can't wait to see the Biergarten area all themed up. Especially the transitions from one area to another (TLM -> Biergarten -> Pier area). I can't wait for broader "land" based artwork to appear like has for the Entry plaza.

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II Well, Al did say there's a model of the entire completed Pier in the Cellar, so we should get to see a lot more this weekend. We should have a lot more to talk about and a much better understanding of the entire project soon. I can't wait. |

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II Yeah, that tid-bit in his update really got my heart going. I can't wait for all the great pictures MCeres are going to take of this. I would love to have a parkwide model, kind of like the Disneyland model over at the Opera House, as it will look when done. Just to have an overview of how it will all fit together.

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II Well the other thing that got me really excited as well was the overall park map circa 2012, not quite a good as a model, but it will show more detail than we've seen so far as to the overall layout. |

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II I'm going to jump back a bit and talk about the picture for the Orange stinger/ silly symphony. I have never really paid attention to the queue of the existing orange stinger. I rode it once and it was not crowded that day but if i remember correctly the queue wraps around a bit on the loading platform before going down the stairs. Once it reaches the bottom of the stairs does it flow freely against the edge of the pier or do they have an extended queue? Does it ever get that busy? The reaosn i ask is because of the new design for silly symphony attraction. The removal of the orange will basically open up a first floor walkway around the main attractions core. Makes me wonder if that would be set-up as an extended queue or if it will be open for people to relax in it and escape the sun. If it will not be extended queue i think Disney has a perfect oppurtunity to set-up some small circular tables. It would add a much needed seating area away from the hot summer heat next to the waters edge. One thing for sure when this attractions queue is done is will look very impressive from the northerns water edge especially at night. Then you will have the new overlay for the zephyr's queue to marvel at from the southern edge of the pier |

![]() | Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II I was thinking the same thing Baloo. I hope people can just go freely under there. I really like the boardwalk around Mickey's wheel and I hope they do something simmilar there at the swings. I like how they're creating some spaces to get closer to the water and enjoy and reinforce the feel of the pier setting, it's really needed. |
