Nope, it's still running. I am currently in line at TSMM.

BTW, they have added additional portraits to the side of the Blue Sky Cellar. I will try to post later.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

thanks for the update, i was not sure if they had considered keeping it open due to the Columbus day Holiday. I know that was in question whether they would close it as of last night or tonight.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

This weekend was a lot busier than we anticipated, with even today being pretty crowded. I don't blame them for keeping it running.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

Thanks MasterGracey and Robonics95!!

I'm really liking the displays they have. Can't wait for what's inside.

I like the steam coming out of the radiator cap on the "hood" at the entrance to Carsland. Nice touch. RSR looks like it's a pretty sizable attraction.

Those rumors about it being a "mega E-Ticket" don't just seem like wishful thinking anymore, do they? This attraction looks HUGE. Possibly larger than any other attraction at the Disneyland Resort. It's very exciting!

Wow, awesome stuff! This is going to get the excitement going again..

Also, I really like the signage for the Cellar.. I think it blends in with the area perfectly..

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

I would love to have that overview map of the park hanging on my walls.

Radiator Springs Racers looks positively massive! It looks like it could be one of the largest Disney attractions period.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

It does look huge. It's got the interior of that entire back wall, the side wall and the "hood" mountain to fill, plus all the exteriors. Could even go multi-level at some point if they wanted to (though not sure on heights inside).

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

I've been saying RSR is gonna be huge, most people can't read plans very well so I knew people would have a hard time envisioning how big it really is. Very exciting to see more pics.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

I've been expecting it to be huge as well, but the nice bird's eye really put the land into a nice perspective that has been lacking in the plans (which I can sort of read ok but not as great as I'd like to). This really cements it and it is going to be one impressive place. The whole land looks to be pretty amazing.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker II

RSR is gonna be huge, literally. I've said this before, but the canyon cliffs are going to be taller than the Matterhorn! Not only will it block out the rest of DCA, the land will also block out the Anaheim skyline and the high tension power lines. The ride will not only be a scenic tour of the Cars land landscape, the ride will also have a full-on interior segment and double track race finale.
