So I guess it is kinda like the queue for BTMR, but open to anyone to stroll. Cool idea. What will be in the building at the end of Route 66?

Also note -- looks like the buildings in the Backlot aren't just empty facades anymore...

The place where the Backlot stage currently is is a fully-built building. Nice! I wonder if they plan to put an attraction or restaurant in that space? It seems small, but possibly doable?

I thought that area was going to become an outdoor music performance venue simmilar to TL Terrace, but I do like the idea of them becoming real buildings.

Good catch - I forgot about the Teen Live Club. Perhaps plans are to build an enclosed venue in that space rather than it being outdoor? Maybe Baloo knows?

I know it's very minor, but the more I look at it, the more I like the choice of Randall with a net as the symbol for the Monster's ride on this map. As was mentioned, this map has a nice sense of whimsy, and I like that they didn't feel they had to make literal representations of every experience.

This is the kind of map that ignited my imagination as a child, that I would stare at and make up stories of all the kinds of adventures that could happen there.

Haha it reminds me of Knott's Berry Farm park maps of when I was a kid. As if the entire park turned into Camp Snoopy.

Great stuff, you guys. Awesome to see that there's art on the outside for people to enjoy.

The wording for Cars land though... I kinda feel like I need more water to swallow that pill. Just tell it how it is. It's a land for uber successful new franchise.

Well... I wouldn't go so far and say that as the illustration is a very loose rendering and not all that accurate. When I saw that image I almost immediately thought that the carousel was relocated.. but it's not. It's just not a very accurate illustration.

I don't think it makes sense to say it sucked, but it seems like maybe they're now trending back toward keeping the name, as they do seem to be using it a lot in this display. Of course that may not mean anything, if they haven't decided on a new name, then what else can they call it.

Not really' But they have pretty much acknowledged it elsewhere. It's just fun to see them try to come up with an "official" explaination. by the way the new DCA map makes a great desktop.

These new renderings are great...DCA will undoubtedly be worthy of the Disney nametag as long as they don't get cold feet and slash the budget. Now if only they could do this for all the other suffering parks around the Disney universe...

So the name CARS LAND is staying? IT'S RADIATOR SPRINGS!!!! sigh. Not even a variation of it. It's like straight up Radiator Springs.

I'd prefer CARBURETOR COUNTY or something.

Thanks MasterGracey for getting these shots up. I apologize for the lack of quality as they were taken by my phone. I am sure more will soon pop up as the Blue Sky Cellar's official opening gets closer.

I must say that it was great to step back and just enjoy the overall positive buzz from the average park guest. The pathway was as busy as I had ever seen it and there was pure excitement in the air.
