We are arriving NOv 9th for 6 days...when do the Holiday decorations go up?
Normally, they go up a couple days after Halloween decorations go down, but I heard they may go up on like the 21st of Nov. Haunted Mansion Holiday WILL still be up after Halloween for the Christmas season. The best to find out for sure when the decor. goes up is the Disneyland website, Disneyland Resort - Detecting Browser Properties . . .
I believe (and since this is MiceChat, I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong) that the Christmas decorations start going up as soon as the Halloween decorations come down, so you should see at least some holiday cheer when you're there, though the tree and such probably won't arrive until right before the official start of the Christmas season.
No problem.
Since you'll be there almost a week, you might even get to see them magically transform the park from day to day!
Small World Holiday decorations are already going up, inside.
Haunted Mansion is already decorated inside and out by Jack for all the Holidays.
the past several years, they have started decorating the rest of New Orleans Square for Christmas the last week of October.
and rest of the Christmas decorations go up as quick as they can take down the Halloween decorations.
Usually everything is up and running, including the Christmas parade, by the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Christmas at the Disneyland Resort officially starts November 21st.
This thread is actually for my uncle, he and his female friend want to visit the park to see the Christmas decorations. How early will everything be up, they are hoping to visit before Thanksgiving crowds.

And the Christmas tree is backstage, but can still be seen if you're in the right place, also, it looks like some of the lights are already going up on the trees in the hub, as well as downtown Disney:

Usuallly the Christmas Parade and all the deccorations are up the weekend before Thanksgiving, but they already have started some of the decorating. See the other threads for details.
