I got one too! I was actually gonna post that here this morning, but yours is better anyways cuz it has a pic. I don't have a pic of it haha. Yea, I went over there on Monday too while my parents shopped in DTD and got one. I had to pay for it though... when I came out, I was trapped in the Golden Wine Vinery and couldn't get out of there because of the parade going by haha.

TSM gets a showcase because it unofficially is the start of the revival of the park. Sure, it's not part of the renovation, but it was the start of things heading in the right direction.
The Games of the Boardwalk get a whole section because they are being done soon. That's also why the Sun Wheel is featured so heavily. Those 2 projects are the first of what is happening, and most likely will be the only big projects heavily in construction during this first changeout of the Cellar since they will be done in the next few months.
The NEXT time the Cellar has a changeout will feature stuff further down the development path. The Games and the Sun Wheel are merely getting the spotlight now because they will be the 1st of the facelift of the park.
I would buy into this except for the substaintially larger displays of World of Color, and TLM... which dwarfed the displays of the Swings or of the Fun Wheel. Even the Trolley had more display space then Goofy's Sky School. TSMM was just overkill... congrats you did something right... enough back patting already.

On an interesting side note, the characters in the Swings will be interesting. I was thinking that if there is enough space they may be able to animate them by having the column rotate in reverse thereby increasing the perception of speed.

Great looking button! I will look to see if they will be selling them somewhere in the park.

Didn't realize that but you're right. I wonder if that's just a work-in-progress concept art or the final. I doubt they'd take the Disney out of the title now, but it does look better that way!

I don't think they'll be selling it... but they have barrels-ful of them at the entrance to the cellar. They hand you one as you go in.

Does anyone know how big that TV is? Is it an LCD? It's amazing!

Good points. All I have left is that the Imagineers aren't very excited about the Sky School either.

Sadly I didn't ask. I believe it is a Plasma, and pretty large, but I'm not sure. Al might have said in his commentary.

Yeah I found it in his update last night. Al mentioned 100 inches. But I'm probably going to ask next time I go, because I found a posting for a new 150" Plasma that was developed by Panasonic and unveiled at this years CES...I wonder...

Just so everyone knows they're out of buttons... the "barrels full of them" were actually only the top part of the barrel, not a full one. After about 4 inches it's a lid.

In the complete off chance that I overlooked something I went into the Cellar again today. I specifically took my time examining everything in there. Aside from Carsland, and the Entrance... Goofy's Sky School is the only other "addition" that only has one piece of concept art. The irony in this is that the entrance and Carsland are both highlighted in the film, and will be highlighted a great deal more when their respective exhibit sections are unveiled.

So then I thought... well maybe they simply didn't have concept art for this, surely they gave the CM's a bunch of info. I heard a good 15 minutes of conversation about the fun wheel... got a blank stare when I asked about Sky School. So I tried someone else... same reaction... Then I talked with an old friend. Sky School was something that WDI avoided when the CM's asked about it. Supposedly there was hesitation in even presenting it, but some felt it had to be shown because "This is the Pier Exhibit". They have art for it, they have models for it, no one wants to step up to the plate and claim ANY of it... and WDI would be more then happy to let this be swept under the rug. So to everyone who thought I read too much into it... I didn't. WDI was likely angry that I, or anyone else, even noticed it instead of looking at the completely useless picture of Ariel above it (the only other thing on that board).

Hopefully that means that they are giving the attraction a second thought. Especially with the current economic situation, maybe they are realizing that the overlay is just a waste of money considering they are 'supposed' to be replacing the attraction sometime in the near future.
