Why do you go to the parks? I go to be with friends and get away from life!
I go to have fun, ultimately. I do that by enjoying attractions that envelop me in other worlds, often with at least a little physical thrill involved, and in between those attractions, I get a kick out of still being immersed in places I could never visit in "real life." Hanging out with friends or family is often but not always part of the equation. I also really enjoy reverse-Imagineering a lot of what I see, trying to figure out what makes it tick, why it's so effective, and so forth. Last but certainly not least, I take plenty of photos so I have photographic record of areas of the park most people don't notice or care about enough to document.
Why? Simple. Everyone has to go home at some point.

to escape from the horrors of everyday life. to just get out of the real world for a while and relax.i HAVE to go to disneyland. im addicted. if i havnt been in over a week, everyone i know can tell. i actuallty get depressed and quit talking to people. id be a different person without this wonderful place.

To not feel like I have to try and fit in.. to be myself and celebrate my inner child... to meet people that I would normally never get to meet.. to make friends and celebrate the day, even if theres nothing to celebrate besides being alive and enjoying it.. to live the magic and make memories that will keep me going through hellish work days and unfriendly family..
Love, happiness, shear joy and peace.
To be in another world. To enjoy the imagination and Disney Magic. And to put a smile on my face! Sometimes it's great seeing someone else's reaction to their first time on a new ride, or first time in a long time.
