Goofy's Kitchen sprinkled with pixie dust and... uh... real dust.

Just got back from a great trip to DL and during the trip I had a nice dinner at Goofy's Kitchen... but I was astounded at the condition of the area I was seated in was:

First I was dismayed that the decor had actually been ripped off the wall.

    Then I noticed the dust:

    Yeah, I don't think that's pixie dust.

Anyone else notice a lowering of standards here? I know there is construction going on in the hotel, but this seems unacceptable.

Definitely bad show. There shouldn't be dust like that in most on-stage areas, let alone in a Resort restaurant.

That's terrible. Someone should touch up the paint on that or re-do the walls or something; if anybody saw that, it would look like no one cared about the condition.

Isn't that a Health Violation as well? No eating area should have that amount of dirt and dust in any part of the place were food is served.

I went to Goofy's Kitchen long ago, and it didn't look like that!! I would be complaining to the mangagement, then I would leave!! Either that, or have a can of Pledge handy!!

Disney has to mess up sometimes.

Go to any other theme park and it's like that everywhere

That's not encouraging, no...given it's a restaurant, and if they let that happen in a area the public can see....who knows what the kitchen might be like, hopefully that's just a fluke.

That's pretty sick. Yuck. That's a bad show, I can only imagine if the health department got a hold of that....

Eww and I was planning to eat here when we went in 10 days... I've never had a character dining experience.. but that might keep me from wanting one~

You're right...but that's why my family and I enjoy DL so much: the standards are set very high. What is shown in those photos is not up to Disney standards at all.

We enjoyed a dinner and a breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen two weeks ago.

I guess we were too busy interacting with the characters and enjoying a good meal to notice any damage or pixie dust.

Sorry that it ruined your character meal experience.

Maybe they'll have it repaired before your next visit?

Maybe they are testing a Haunted Mansion overlay for Goofy's Kitchen.

Please tell me you complained to a CM or Manager in regards to this and didn't just post it on here. From a dirty fish to a vandalized horse to missing decor and dust bunnies, amazing how details can sometimes smudge the squeaky clean image. All we need now is a scandalous backstage photo taken with a high end commercial grade telephoto lens.

... Oh... I mean eww that's gross and and and you must really hate Disney and and and you go too often and and no more trip reports and yada yada yada...
