I got my candy canes today! Heres another update of the last two dates that I know candy canes will be made on:

Saturday, December 13th
Saturday, December 20th
They may possibly do it on Christmas day.

It is a very, very long wait to get a candy cane. I got there 10 minutes before opening and I had to wait 4 hours for the 2nd batch.

Anyways, I have some videos of them making the candy canes, I hope to get some up later.

I totally lucked out. We walked up to the window when they were adding the dye for the stripes and we watched the whole process until they cut and put down the first cane. i figured all the tickets would be gone. I walked inside and there was no line. I asked if there were tickets left and they said only one. i took it and was first in line. I only had to wait for them to start packaging them. this was for the last batch of the day.

I wasn't the time at first. I know right before or right after I bought them it was 2:30pm. I think they said it started at 1:00pm. I'm sorry I'm very bad at watching the time when I'm in the parks.

I found the receipt. i purchased the candy canes at 2:17pm

It looks like the only day left for candy canes is Saturday, December 20th. If you want one follow these steps:

1. Line up in front of the Disneyland gates at around 6:45 AM - 7:00 AM.

2. Once you get in the park RUN to Candy Palace. I was first in line at my turnstile and ran as fast as I could, and still got one of the last two tickets.

The line was full (even for the third batch) at 9:30 AM. The tickets for the 2nd batch weren't even passed out yet.

They pass out 20 tickets for each batch and usually have 5 extra.

We scored six during our T-Day vacation trip.

We'll save two to be consumed on Christmas Day.

oh thanks for linking the article! we were lucky to get two candy canes the day after Thanksgiving. it was really fun to watch them during the whole process. they are hanging on the tree right now. the bubble wrap was perfect! made it all the way back to WA.
