Pixie Hollow is OPEN!!!

I just got back from the park. I wasn't able to tour Pixie Hollow until about 8:15 and it was dark.

And it's ok but so far I'm not too impressed. The waterfall isn't any more elaborate than what you would find at a miniature golf course.

And the music, while nicely orchestrated, reminds me of the Whole Earth Festival at UC Davis, my alma mater. I'm almost expecting to see some hippie selling insence and birkenstocks out of the back of his VW Bus.

Oh well. I guess I'll wait until Sunday when I can fully see everything to make a final opinion. It's nice but not great.

I think Pixie Hollow looks amazing! Especially from what it used to be! Does anyone know what the fountain actually does? I've heard people talk about jumping water and stuff, but what does that mean?

I believe it bubbles as well.

Does that mean it's something like the Yo-Ho-on-drugs music track they added to the lower grotto in Pirates?
