    Here, watch how this goes:

Subject for your 1 single thread: Christmas Entertainment Calendar Update

Text: I just checked the Disneyland.com calendar and would like to confirm the following updates with everyone for this year's wintertime entertainment.

Christmas Season at Disneyland begins on November 21st, including:
    Believe... In Holiday Magic 9:25pm
A Christmas Fantasy Parade 3:30pm and 6:30 pm(with a few varying scheduled days)
    It's a Small World Holiday

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Holiday Fireworks show begins daily showing on Friday November 21, 2008, at 9:25 pm!

the Christmas Fantasy Parade is scheduled to begin on Friday Novemger 21, 2008, at 3:30pm and 6:30pm.

The Parade runs twice a day at the same times each day thru November 30th.

Starting December 1st, the parade run once a day at 6:30pm on Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur
and twice a day on Friday 12-5 at 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm

twice a day on Saturday 12-6 and Sunday 12-7 1:15 pm and 3:15 pm
(early due to the Candelight Processional)

Monday 12-8 Parade at 4 pm DL closes at 6pm, DCA open until 9pm
Tuesday 12-9 Parade at 4 pm DL closes at 6pm, DCA open until 9pm
    Wednesday 12-10 Parade at 6:30pm
    Thursday 12-11 Parade at 6:30pm

The Parade then runs twice a day at 3:30pm and 6:30pm thru January 4, 2009,
which is the last day of the Christmas Fantasy Parade.

and there appears to be some big news!

On Thursday November 20, It shows:

    Quote:
    Closed for Refurbishment:
    Big Thunder Ranch
    Harbour Galley
    it's a small world
and on Friday November 21, it only shows

    Closed for Refurbishment:
    Harbour Galley

Looks Like Small World Holiday will be open on 11-21-08!!!

Does anyone know if the audio for this is available somewhere? I know it's not on the 50th cd. I watched it on youtube and loved it!!

The audio for Believe...In Holiday Magic was on a cd called "Holiday Magic" sold at Disneyland. It is no longer sold but you can find copies on ebay every now and then. It has the old grandmother narration though which has been replaced by the lady who does blue fairy providing just plain ole "mother" narration I guess as of last year.

Thanks Almandot. I am in the process of updating the 1st post in this thread, to make it look Prettier and to add the couple odd days when fireworks starts early.

Wow, fireworks at 5:45? Thats only a half hour less sunlight than the Pixar Play Parade! I think I'll be heading out there to see what that looks like.

Anyone know what day they'll be testing the fireworks?
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

I'm not sure if they would be much or any testing at all for this holiday fireworks show. Can't imagaine the show will be much different than the last few years, to necessitate testing.

Does anyone know if they are going to be using the same sountrack for both the fireworks and the snow, this year?

of course they'll test, they always do. You can't run a fireworks show dry.

Note, there are also days when the Fireworks will be at 7:45 PM (when the park closes at 8 PM).

And don't forget, Fireworks are weather permitting, some or all the fireworks and special effects can be cancelled due to wind or rain.

    Thanks again Darkbeer!

The additional days with different times will be changed in post one, shortly!

HaHaHa, yeah, Disney always reserves the right to modify their schedules on entertainment due to other reasons, and weather.

Re: Believe . . . In Holiday Magic Fireworks

Corrected times for fireworks are now in Post 1

in addition to a few early closes the 1st week of December,
DL closes a little early on Christmas Eve.

Also, I made note of the Special New Years Eve Fireworks show that is usually done on NYE, weather permitting.

If anyone has information on New Years Eve Entertainment, please start a new topic with that information. If no one has NYE info in the next couple of days, I will Start a separate topic for that days events.
